Octagonal Orb

by Elizabeth Hartman popped up on my facebook feed at some point in the past few couple of weeks and at first I thought no way, out of my skill set and then I saw her instructions and saw how easy she'd made it for everyone to make so I gave it a shot!

I've chosen to use my Hideaway jelly roles for this adventure

After I did my first triangle I was hooked

My centre isn't as good as it should be and contrived randomness isn't my thing
but I do love this block and look forward to having
a lapquilt of of them

You can find the tute over at The Modern Quilt Guild and the wonderful Elizabeth Hartman at her blog Oh, Fransson!

What a lovely block, I think your estimate of your skill set is way too low!!
