Today my MIP - Lazy Day Hat pattern arrived and I must admit, I'm pretty excited! Finding a hat for myself that doesn't feel like it's squeezing my head is not as easy as it should be, not that I have a massive melon or anything, I just prefer to always wear my hair up, hence causing straining on the hat, poor hat, I've such a mean head! When I showed Mr.T. the hat he said he'd have one please as he likes that style, I did offer for him to choose any fabric he likes from my stash or else I'd be more than happy to put aside my life in order to shop for fabric for his hat, how totally accommodating of me ;) I do adore the MIP range but sadly, all her patterns tend to end at the 5y mark, my baby is almost 6y so sadly, I can't buy her other stuff :(

Today I was put onto the amazing little taggie blanky, I'd never seen them before and with 2 girlfriends due to have bubs mid next year I think a taggie or 10 may be in order ;) Thank you bubblegumma for the link, I'd love to share it but I don't want my gfs knowing what I intend to sew for them, such the spoilt sport I am!

Can you believe how close to Christmas it is now, WHERE has the year gone!? This year has been a big one for us, 1 starting and finishing prep, 1 starting and finishing their first year of high school, 1 starting and finishing yr10, no longer to be a junior but now a senior, all my babes are growing up so fast, I long for nap time and early nights, lol.
